Swing to kill it sound offensive to the religious. To a very violent man it sounds tough. The title is not for the refine and sophisticated Christian or even pagan for it sound so inflated with violence and carnage. The name is not intended to invite a pat on the back from my pagan friends or even an ataboy from Christian men. It simply states a fact of war. You swing to kill. From ancient times to modern times if swinging a sword or a bat, what ever you are aiming at you swing to hit and not miss.

 

God in Jeremiah a book found in the prophets of the bible, is speaking to an army that will be used to bring judgment to  Moab  for their treatment towards Israel. God simply tells this instrument of judgment swing to kill.  How many times we do the work given to us and we do it just to get by. Never giving 100%. We work only when the boss is around.  We live just to please others or to fake it as if we are really doing life. We look for the easy way out. Relationships, tasks and dreams go un touch never finished or waiting for the other person to fulfill their part then we will do ours. The bible calls that a cursed life….
